Honda, a well-known name in the world of two-wheelers, is all set to make a splash in the Indian market. The company has recently patented the design of a new scooter, the Honda Stylo 160. This scooter is currently available only in Indonesia, but if speculations are to be believed, it can be launched in India soon.

It has a powerful 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine produces 15.2 bhp of power and 13.8 Nm of torque. Mileage is expected to be around 45 to 60 kilometres per litre. Stylo 160 will have the option of CBS or ABS braking. Its 12-inch alloy wheels come with telescopic forks and mono-shock suspension.

Stylo 160 is not only attractive but it is also equipped with many modern features. It has a fully digital instrument panel, which shows the speedometer, fuel level, trip meter and other important information. The top variant of the scooter can also get an anti-theft alarm with a SmartKey feature.
Regarding safety, the high-spec variant of the Stylo 160 has disc brakes on both tyres with single-channel ABS. At the same time, drum brakes with CBS (combined braking system) can be found in the low-priced variant.
Expected launch in India
Although Honda has not yet officially announced the launch of the Stylo 160 in India, the company’s patenting of the design indicates that the company is planning to bring this scooter to the Indian market. It is difficult to say anything about the possible price of the Stylo 160 in India right now, but it is expected that its price will be slightly higher than the Honda Activa.
